Liam Gallagher in Cannes

I'm following a lot of the industry correspondents in Cannes this year, largely via Twitter. Here's an interview Guardian Correspondent Xan Brooks conducted with the former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher about his film project The Longest Cocktail Party (about the Beatles), an excellent demonstration of why Gallagher - in his belligerence, self-absorption, disdain but nonetheless clear enthusiasm - can fairly lay claim to being one of the only authentic Rock n Roll figures still at large today.
